Every summer I looked forward to going to summer camp. For one week I would be at camp having fun, swimming in the lake, boating, hiking, making arts and craft, camping outside under the stars one night, eating s’mores, singing songs around the campfire, learning to Square Dance (it was a Thursday night activity) and of course learning the Bible stories. When I was in high school, I went back to the camp to work as a CIT (Counselor-InTraining). Relationships were built during those weeks. I didn’t realize it then, but that time really helped shaped my faith.
On Sunday February 11th we will have a representative from Camp Lackawanna here at Covenant Church during worship. We hope you will learn a little more about our camp. Camp Lackawanna is already registering for 2018 summer camp.
